This document describes the artwork specifications and best practices to incorporate in CTV spots and Display banners which are integral to ContentDiscovery campaigns.

Please adhere closely to these guidelines as they are designed to maintain the quality of your final creatives.


CTV Spots


  • Insertion Point: Pre-roll, mid-roll, post-roll
  • Maximum ad display  duration: 15 sec and 30 sec. video
  • Resolution: 1920x1080
  • Bitrate: 15mbps
  • File Format: .mp4
  • Max File Size: 100mb
  • Audio:
    • Bitrate: 192 kbps
    • Sample Rate: 48 kHz
    • Codec: AAC

Best Practices

Here are a few key things to consider when creating your CTV spot for your ContentDiscovery campaign:

  • Create at least one 30 second CTV spot with a 15 second cut-down version
  • FOR FAST: Keep your channel-name graphic and channel number + platform on screen throughout the spot
    • FOR VOD: Keep your channel-name graphic and app name on screen throughout the spot
  • FOR FAST: Incorporate voiceover mentioning channel name, platform and channel number at the end of the spot
    • FOR VOD: Incorporate voiceover mentioning channel name and app at the end of the spot
  • Feature content that showcases your strongest programming and most well-known content
  • Use select, short sound bites from your content throughout your spot to emphasize featured content
  • If you choose to leverage services from SparkLabs for your campaign, providing source files and projects files is highly recommended
